Continuing education and counseling for professors
Professors often juggle multiple tasks and roles – they are teachers, researchers, leaders, project managers, and supervisors for doctoral students. They have to take care of finances, and are actively involved in university committees. In addition, they often face the challenge of balancing work and family life.
The Center for Continuing Education (ZfW) supports you in your role as a professor and the tasks this entails with a variety of continuing education courses and counseling. We especially want to support newly appointed professors as they familiarize themselves with their duties. Our continuing education and coaching services are part of the YOUProf program for junior and tenure-track professors.
All professors at TU Dresden can make use of the ZfW’s services.
Benefit from scientifically sound and practical workshops as well as individual coaching and team coaching with external coaches. Our participants often appreciate the opportunity to network with colleagues during the workshops.
