As a certified, family-friendly university, TUD offers families a family-friendly infrastructure on campus and in the immediate vicinity.

Baby changing facilities

Baby changing facilities are available in numerous buildings such as the Auditorium Center, the Fritz Foerster Building and the canteen. You can find the exact locations and further information on the overview of baby changing facilities at the TUD.

Rest rooms

The TUD provides several quiet rooms on campus to offer students and staff a place to retreat for rest and relaxation. These rooms are deliberately designed to be quiet and are suitable for short breaks, relaxation exercises or breastfeeding, for example. Play facilities

For children of students and employees, there are child-friendly places on campus and in the immediate vicinity where they can play and linger, such as the TU children's playground CampusKISTE or the table tennis table on the HSZ meadow. There is also a playroom in the Campus Office Uni mit Kind and the option of borrowing a mobile games box from the Campus Office Uni mit Kind . If you like sports, you can let off steam on the TU-WAS path.

Accommodation options for student parents

Children's meals in the canteens

In all Studentenwerk Dresden canteens there is an individually prepared children's meal in combination with an "adult meal".
