Campus design
The campus design plan lays out how the outdoor spaces of our campus will be developed. Over the next few years, a main campus will emerge that reflects the research conducted at our University of Excellence while inviting visitors to linger for a while. To improve the quality of everyone’s campus experience, guidelines and key projects have been defined.
Mobility
Good accessibility and an internal development of the campus is essential for all visitors and is central to a vibrant and sustainably designed campus. Solutions for future-oriented mobility on campus are set out in the Mobility concept, which is a central component of the Campus Design Master Plan. For providing signs in the outdoor areas and in the buildings, we use a uniform, accessible guidance and orientation system consisting of information boards, signposts, warning signs and door signs.
Biodiversity
Ecologically sustainable aspects are increasingly taken into consideration when it comes to planning outdoor spaces. These green areas improve the quality of life on campus - gardening, for example, is not just a decorative pursuit, it also makes a decisive contribution to improving the urban climate and preserving biodiversity.
