Try the cargo bike rental service Sometimes, items need to be transported around campus. However, it doesn't always have to be by car. There are now several cargo bikes on campus, waiting to be discovered. Two of them are available for all university members, to borrow free of charge. Who would like to take care of a tree? Would you like to support the preservation of trees on campus with a donation, perhaps alongside your team or project partners? Planting trees increases the quality of life on campus and improves the ecological and urban climate conditions. We already have several tree patrons. A certificate of donation can be acquired in the amount of EUR 500. Alternatively, you can also take on a watering commitment amounting to EUR 150 to provide the existing trees with sufficient water even, in dry periods. We would love to hear from you! Rely on sustainable mobility on your way to work  
Do you want to travel in a climate-friendly way from 2024? The mobility portal offers a range of options. Start using your bike instead of your car to get to uni, switch to public transport by using your job or semester ticket. Registration form

Limit heating your office to 20 degrees

Attend educational events at TU Dresden on the topic of sustainability
TU Dresden offers regular courses in the fields of environmental education or education for sustainable development (ESD). Discover in the series "SustainAbility: Understanding and implementing sustainability" which takes place every semester, how man-made climate change occurs and what solutions are available." Or attend the  environmental lecture series with changing topics, e.g. what cities of the future should look like or how society, humans and nature can be brought into harmony.
