Water does not stop at regional or political borders - and the protection of this vital resource can only work together. At the TUD, several bilateral EU Interreg projects (funded by the European Regional Development Fund, supported by the European Project Center of the TUD) are currently working on the topic of water. They shed light on a wide range of aspects: from the monitoring of watercourses and the quality of wastewater treatment to aquatic biodiversity and the sustainable use of water systems in European cities. The lecture offers an insight into current research projects and shows how cross-border cooperation in science and practice works.
