CeTI Cluster of Excellence video wins Gold Award at the 2023 US International Awards and is Platinum Winner at the TITAN Health Awards
Museums in Dresden come alive at night. In a video created by the Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI), baroque automations in the Mathematisch-Physikalischer Salon of the Dresden Zwinger are brought to life by their cheeky 21st century robot successors, which are being developed by the Cluster of Excellence at TU Dresden. The video won the Gold Award in the “Corporate Videos – Science & Technology” category at the US International Awards. The CeTI video was also a Platinum Winner in the “Technology / Science” category at the TITAN Health Awards.
Earlier this year, the video already ignited enthusiasm in Leipzig at the SPIN2030 launch event, a campaign created by the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism to improve awareness of the diversity, appeal and excellence of Saxony as a prime location for science. Now, with these latest awards, everyone involved in creating the video has achieved yet another success. The video bridges the gap between past, present and future – Saxony’s interest in rare automations, such as the Drumming Bear, which can perform extraordinarily complex movements, dates back to 1625. As such, excellent robotics research has found a home in Saxony for a reason.
The US International Awards (formerly known as the US International Film & Video Festival) have a background of more than 50 years within the industry of corporate videos and documentaries. They are a member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (cifft).
