Newly launched: Connect to Talent 2.0
The Connect to Talent 2.0 project has been launched at the Technical University (TUD) and supports young people from year 7 onwards with stereotype-free study and career guidance. The aim of the program is to help young people find their way in gender-atypical fields of study and careers, discover and strengthen their own talents and critically question common gender roles. The program is particularly aimed at female students with an interest in STEM subjects and students who are interested in humanities or social science departments.
Building blocks: insights into studying and careers
Connect to Talent 2.0 comprises five areas of activity. The focus is on practical insights into studies and careers, with exchanges with role models and excursions to regional companies and research institutions being particularly important. In addition, workshops strengthen important skills such as decision-making, self-reflection and personal strengths.
Interested in taking part?
The project is aimed at pupils from year 7 and young people up to three years after leaving school. Participation is free of charge. Registration is possible for both individual pupils and interested classes. Further information and the registration form for Connect to Talent 2.0 can be found here.
Funding and implementation
The Connect to Talent 2.0 project is co-financed by the European Union for the period April 2026 to March 2028 and co-financed by the state of Saxony. The implementation is located at the ServiceCenterStudium of the TUD.
