Who would dare to go into ice-cold water in freezing temperatures? Push yourself to the limit with the winter swimming sports course offered by the Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ). In the new episode of “Richard has a closer look at...,” our student presenter visits the course and braves the cold water of Cossebaude reservoir pool.

Who would choose to go cold water swimming of their own free will? What are the health benefits? And what should you be aware of during winter swimming? Richard finds the answers to all these questions in the new video.

The “Richard & Alina testen...” (Richard & Aline have a closer look at...) video series offers a glimpse into the lives of students – beyond the daily grind on campus. They try out various sport groups, activities outside of lectures and university groups. From editing to production, three TU Dresden students manage this video series.
