Honors and Awards for Top Graduates of the academic year 2024/2025

Prof. Ursula M. Staudinger, Rector of the TUD, together with Prof. Niels Modler, Vice-Rector Academic Affairs Across the Life Course, awarded the best 81 graduates of the academic year 2024/2025 on December 5, 2025.

The following honors are awarded to the best graduates at TU Dresden:

• Lohrmann Medal: All degree program providers as well as the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLSB) and the Student Council can nominate a graduate to receive the TU Dresden Lohrmann Medal.
• Ehrenfried Walter von Tschirnhaus Certificate: The Ehrenfried Walter von Tschirnhaus Certificate is awarded to the best graduates in the School of Science.
• Victor Klemperer certificate: The Victor Klemperer certificate is awarded to the best graduates in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Certificate honoring the best graduates in the School of Engineering Sciences
• Certificate awarded to the best graduates in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
• Karl Trinks certificate: The best graduates of the teaching degree program are awarded the Karl Trinks certificate.
