Are you interested in learning about current research in a relaxed atmosphere? Then, “Science, Beers & Cheers”, a series of science communication events in Dresden, will be just the thing for you. Prof. Frank Fitzek, holder of the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks and Speaker of the Cluster of Excellence “Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop” (CeTI), will be taking part in this event. The lecture series will take place until November 6, 2024 at the Mondpalast Hostel in Dresden Neustadt (Louisenstraße 77). Admission is free.

On October 30, 2024, beginning at 7:30 pm, Frank Fitzek will give a talk on “The Tangible Future: From Tactile Interaction to Body Architecture”. He will be talking about how tactile internet is making our digital future “tangible” in the truest sense of the word. Perhaps, he will also bring his robotic dog “Spot” to the event.

In addition, Irena Domachowska from the Chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience at TU Dresden and researchers from the University of Technology Chemnitz and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics will be taking part.
