International alumni play an important role in the university's identity. Therefore, this issue of the alumni magazine focuses on how alumni relations is handled at TUD. In an interview with "Kontakt-online", TUD rector Prof. Ursula Staudinger explains why TUD is proactively approaching alumni and what the university hopes to gain from its alumni network.

The international alumni ambassadors, active in dozens of countries and on all continents, are an integral part of the TUD. In addition, the career of selected alumni in the San Francisco Bay Area and how an alumni chapter was founded there will be highlighted.
