In the week of 19 - 23 September 2022, PIZ Dresden will participate in the nationwide "PIZnet Action Week" with the topic "IP strategies for companies" in cooperation with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.

During the action week, companies will receive free, neutral and confidential advice on creating value and avoiding risks when dealing with intellectual property (IP). During the two-hour orientation consultations, experts from the patent information centres analyse the company-specific IP situation. The focus is on industrial property rights (patents, utility models, trademarks and designs), but also on aspects of so-called "soft IP", which include trade secrets and copyrights. On this basis, the companies receive an initial assessment of their economic opportunities and risks in the field of intellectual property with specific recommendations for action - from individual suggestions for the optimal use of intellectual property in the company to approaches for strategic competitive advantages.

If desired, the consultations can take place via video and audio transmission or on site at the patent information centre.
