Richard has a closer look at the "Thea Maass" Folklore Dance Ensemble at TU Dresden
Lower Sorbian Freite, Old Polka and the Winzertanz (Winegrower's Dance). In the new episode of "Richard has a closer look at..." how people are hitting the dance floor. Our reporter visited the "Thea Maass" Folklore Dance Ensemble of TU Dresden. Since 1950, the dancers have been taking traditional customs from various German regions in developing them into demanding stage choreographies. They are considered to be one of the most successful amateur dance groups in Germany. Watch the video to find out how Richard did in the challenging dances and learn more about German folklore.
