Technische Universität Dresden emphatically rejects any form of violence, be it against individuals or property. Should the investigation corroborate that the arson attack on the vehicle of TUD Professor Werner Patzelt was politically motivated, TU Dresden shall consider this an attack on the freedom of science. Violence is never the appropriate means to deal with contrary opinions.
