To vaccinate or not to vaccinate? Information event for students and employees
According to TUD's internal survey on vaccination, in which about 15,000 people participated, i.e. about 41 percent of TUD members, about 81 percent of the participants had already been fully vaccinated. Of the 14.5 percent of participants who had not yet been vaccinated at the time of the survey, about 21 percent had the intention of getting vaccinated, another about 21 percent were still undecided, and about 58 percent were opposed to vaccination so far.
The University Leadership advocates for the highest possible vaccination rate among the members of TUD in order to enable as many on-site events as possible. Therefore, there will be an immunization clinic right on campus from October 4–16 and November 8–20, 2021, except on Sundays: https://tu-dresden.de/corona/impfung.
In the run-up to the vaccination campaign, TUD is hosting an online event where you have the opportunity to ask questions. The event, entitled “Should I ... shouldn't I ... should I? Questions about the Covid-19 vaccination”, will take place on September 30, 2021, starting at 5 pm: https://tu-dresden.zoom.us/j/86187814638?pwd=Q1ZRd0ZDdW5jeXlHa01jQmFRQ1d4QT09.
The speaker, Prof. Alexander Dalpke, is the director of the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Virology at the University Hospital. In his speech, he will address frequently asked questions about vaccinations from an expert's point of view and then answer any questions from participants in the comments section.
