TU Dresden Invites Applications for Tenure Track Chairs
After last year's successful participation in the Federal and State programme for the promotion of young scientists, and after all tenure track chairs that had been applied for were approved, these chairs have now been advertised.
During a university-wide coordination process, TU Dresden has identified possible tenure track chairs that are to be established in all areas (except medicine) and set up in two other central scientific institutions of TUD. The new chairs will support the strategic orientation of the faculties as well as degree programmes that currently have a very high teaching load.
The tenure track chairs at TUD will align with the university's Research Priority Areas, will aim to find scientific solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time, and will be oriented towards global, cutting-edge research while pursuing an interdisciplinary approach.
The application period runs until mid-June.
The German advertisement was published by DIE ZEIT on 17th May.
