Live Science e. V., a newly founded association for science communication and outreach in Dresden, is organizing the first edition of the scientific pub festival "Beerology" in Dresden's Neustadt between October 10^th and 19^th. Researchers from TU Dresden are also participating: particle physicist Prof. Michael Kobel, food chemist Prof. Thomas Henle, chemist Prof. Jan J. Weigand and biophysicist Dr. Marcus Jahnel. The TUD spin-off Lohrmanns Brew is supporting the event as a partner.  

All interested parties are invited to popular science short lectures at the Mondpalasts-Hostel pub and the Zapfanstalt. While sipping a cool drink, they can attend talks by Dresden scientists and ask them questions about their research topics. The events are held in German or English, entrance is free.
