TUD researchers attend first scientific pub festival in Dresden
Live Science e. V., a newly founded association for science communication and outreach in Dresden, is organizing the first edition of the scientific pub festival "Beerology" in Dresden's Neustadt between October 10th and 19th. Researchers from TU Dresden are also participating: particle physicist Prof. Michael Kobel, food chemist Prof. Thomas Henle, chemist Prof. Jan J. Weigand and biophysicist Dr. Marcus Jahnel. The TUD spin-off Lohrmanns Brew is supporting the event as a partner.
All interested parties are invited to popular science short lectures at the Mondpalasts-Hostel pub and the Zapfanstalt. While sipping a cool drink, they can attend talks by Dresden scientists and ask them questions about their research topics. The events are held in German or English, entrance is free.
