TUD wins the ZEIT Karriere-Award
Under the slogan „45.000 people, 125 nationalities, ONE university” (German: „45.000 Menschen, 125 Nationalitäten, EINE Uni“) , TU Dresden has created and published an advertisement which has now been awarded the prize as the best in the category “Image ad in the field of teaching and research” by the ZEIT publishing house as part of an advertisement competition. The winning ad has been determined by an expert jury and an online voting. In granting the award, the jury stated: “This image ad is focused on the essential. It makes you want to be part of it.”
With this ad, TUD has displayed its delight of having about 5000 international students and scientists who have chosen TU Dresden and the city of Dresden as the location to live in, to work and to study. This ad was published in late 2015 and early 2016 in numerous regional and national media outlets.
The ZEIT Karriere-Award ceremony was held on 21st November 2016 in Berlin.
