UNI LIVE on January 11, 2024: Welcome to UNI LIVE – TU Dresden’s open house day for prospective students
If you can't make it to Dresden on January 11, 2024 due to the strike, make sure you still have a look at the program. Many faculties, Schools and central units will be organizing hybrid or purely online events.

On January 11, 2024 TU Dresden will provide information about its degree programs and important topics related to studying in Dresden at the UNI LIVE – open house day. The event will have a hybrid structure: On this day, prospective students may attend courses, lectures and laboratories live on campus. Students, lecturers and staff will be available to answer questions at the information market as well as at information events and offer insights into the degree programs offered at TUD. The online format will provide information sessions, chats and participation in courses for all interested parties who will not be able to participate in person.
The Central Units of TUD will provide information about support services ranging from choosing a degree program to submitting an application. The focus will be on the following topics: Admission requirements, application and deadlines, numerus clausus (degrees with restricted admission), preparatory courses, financing your studies, accommodation, studying abroad and much more. In addition, prospective students will have the opportunity to get to know the TUD campus on guided tours both in the morning and afternoon.
There will also be a special program for accompanying parents with a tour of the campus and presentations on ways to support their children in their choice of studies and on financing their studies.
The day will start at 8:00 am with an overview presentation by the Central Student Information and Counseling Service „What? When? Where? How? – Studying at TU Dresden". Starting at 9:00 am, there will be information on the degree programs as well as all relevant topics.
