Uni-Day on May 13, 2023 – Open day at TU Dresden
On May 13, 2023, TU Dresden once again opens its doors to all prospective students! This is the perfect opportunity for high school graduates to find out more about future degree programs, and for students of other universities to have a look at what advanced degree programs we have on offer. TU Dresden alumni can come back to visit their university, and members of the public are also cordially invited to come and enjoy our open day.
You’ll not only get to see the diverse study opportunities we have to offer, you’ll also experience a bit of student life. The Auditorium Center (HSZ), Bergstraße 64 and the newly opened Fritz Foerster Building, Mommsenstraße 6 will open their doors from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm for everyone interested in visiting the information stands hosted by all faculties and service points. Students will be particularly involved in our program – who better than the students themselves to tell you about everyday university life? They will tell you a little bit about themselves, give you an insight into the student councils, provide you with information about studying and give you a tour of the institutes. Student initiatives and project groups will also be there to tell you about their work. Current scholarship holders will answer questions on scholarships for gifted students and scholarship foundations.
The program is supplemented with campus tours, laboratory visits, and also the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the university library.
The Students’ Union (Studentenwerk) offers a number of study-related services, and will provide information on student housing and finance - as well as on how it takes care of the culinary needs of the students.
To make it easier for prospective students to navigate the varied program, TUD has set up a website for the event.
