Thoughts need freedom and movement. Under this motto, the University Sports Centre (USZ) offers the more than 25,000 students, staff members and families of TU Dresden an attractive range of over 800 different sports courses and events per year. Whether you would like to do a proper work out or take it easy, the 9 full-time staff members and more than 500 course instructors provide for a sporty change from everyday university life. In 2012, this offer made them receive their first award, being TU Dresden's most family-friendly institution.
However, due to the corona crisis, TU Dresden and hence also the USZ with its sports facilities will keep their doors closed until at least 4th May. In order to temporarily escape from this difficult time and to still offer students and staff in the home office a sports programme, the USZ and its course instructors will be offering free online sports courses for 4 weeks starting in April, with weekly live courses and sports programmes to download in the form of ‘Recommendations of the week’.
Registration is possible from April 2nd, 2 p.m.: www.tu-dresden.de/usz
