Election notice for the election of the Doctoral Council 2024/25
From 10 to 12 June 2024, the Doctoral Council of TU Dresden, representing all doctoral candidates of TU Dresden, will be elected again for the legislative term of one year. The elections are free, equal and secret. The election regulations of the TU Dresden of 27 September 2019 in the amended version of 28 September 2022 form the basis for orientation.
All doctoral candidates of TU Dresden who have been accepted for doctoral studies and registered in Promovendus elect up to seventeen representatives from their ranks who form the Doctoral Council and, if possible, broadly cover the spectrum of disciplines at TU Dresden. The election is chaired by the Vice Rector Research and conducted by the Election Committee. The following doctoral candidates belong to this committee:

- Pauline Dunkel
- Dominik Koll
- Márcio Salgueiro Roth
- Nina Stilkerich
- Heike Wiesner
Until 15 May 2024, all doctoral candidates who would like to run for the new Doctoral Council can submit an election proposal. To do so, use the digital form and send it filled out and digitally signed to .
After each nomination has been reviewed by the Election Committee, the approved nominations will be published on the Graduate Academy's website by 27 May 2024. Only election proposals submitted by the deadline can be considered. The electoral roll is available for inspection at the Graduate Academy between 8 and 15 May. The electoral roll will be closed on 16 May.
The online election will take place from 10 June 2024, 10 a.m. to 12 June 2024, 3 p.m. All eligible voters will receive an e-mail with a personalised access link for online voting by 10 a.m. on 10 June 2024.
