From 11 to 13 June, the 11th doctoral council  will be re-elected to represent doctoral students at TU Dresden for the 2025/2026 term of office. This term of office will exceptionally last until October 2026 in order to align the Doctoral Council with the general election cycle of the TUD bodies.

All doctoral candidates at TU Dresden who have been accepted for a doctorate and are registered in Promovendus elect up to seventeen representatives from their ranks to form the Doctoral Council, covering a broad spectrum of disciplines at TU Dresden wherever possible.

The election is chaired by the Vice-Rector Research and conducted by the Election Committee. The following doctoral students are members of this committee:
