Tasks
The tasks of the Building Automation group include the comprehensive operation and monitoring of TUD's own technical operational facilities (betriebstechnische Anlagen, BTA)) via the control and operating station of the building automation control center.
The technical installations include:
- District heating stations
- Gas and oil boiler systems
- Air-conditioning systems
- Electrical systems and transformer stations
- Communication technology
- Mechanical engineering systems (elevators)
- Fire and burglar alarm systems (BMA, EMA)
- Building-specific adaptation of BTA operating procedures and parameters according to management specifications (schedules, special use days, room conditions)
- Fault diagnosis and fault elimination
- Monitoring of hazard detection systems (BMA, EMA)
