Unit 5.2 European Project Center
The EPC provides advice to scientists about the European programmes for research and innovation funding, training and third country co-operation, and about support from the European Structural Funds. Our team has far-reaching knowledge of EU funding policy and of implementing the individual programmes and actions. In addition to consulting on funding, our key competences lie in administrative project management. This includes, for example, budgeting for projects as well as developing and implementing efficient management structures. This means that ideas can successfully be developed into projects.

With this wealth of professional expertise behind us, we can offer you the following administrative services:
- Initial consultation and selection of suitable funding programmes
- Submitting proposals and resource planning
- Negotiating and concluding contracts
- Compliance with and monitoring of applicable rules and regulations
- Continual project control concerning deadlines and budget
- Preparing financial reports
- Project completion
- Continual communication with the providers of third-party funding and project partners
As a Unit of the Directorate for Research at TU Dresden, our consultancy and management services are available to all Researchers at University.
The success of our model is reflected not only in the increasing proportion of EU third-party funding. Interested enquiries from other institutes and companies concerning our working practices are further confirmation of our approach, which, of course, involves constantly adapting to the general conditions as they change.
