Projects
With the aim to secure and increase academic success especially in STEM disciplines, The Writing Centre of TU Dresden offers:
- Counselling and Workshops concerning academic writing, presenting and communicating in science, especially for students in STEM disciplines starting their studies or passing exams
- Qualification programme for peer tutors responsible for workshops and counselling (peer learning)
- Counselling and workshops for teachers in STEM courses focussing on didactictal methods and support of students starting their studies or passing exams.
The project is conducted in cooperation with the Career Service at TU Dresden.
In this ESF-funded project, a qualification for tutors of the TU Dresden was offered.
The qualification is based on the individual needs of the students and the subject-specific requirements of the study programs. In addition to the preparation for the tutorial teaching activity, competences are promoted in all participants, which are also useful in later professional life, both in the application process and in everyday working life. The overall goal of the project is a central qualification for subject tutors of all study programs of the TU Dresden.
The project will be continued under the name TUTORING hybrid at ZiLL.
