Export Controls and Science | Module 1-3 (E-Learning)

This course explains export controls in a scientific context. The modules contain, among other things, definitions, an introduction to the structure of export controls as well as practical examples and sanctions for misconduct. The three modules build on each other and participation in the second and third module requires the passing of the respective preceding modules.

Learning objectives:

• Understand and apply the principles and legal framework conditions of export control
• Familiarization with national and international laws as the basis of export control

• Complete procedures for compliance with export control regulations

• Recognize risk factors and implement measures to minimize violations

• Develop awareness of the ethical and security aspects of export control.
