The 84 best TUD graduates of the 2023/2024 academic year were honored at a ceremony in the Schönfeld Auditorium on December 6, 2024.

Vice-Rector Academic Affairs Prof. Michael Kobel had previously asked the faculties and academic institutions for suggestions for the award for the best graduates. The final decision was made by the members of the Standing Committee of the Senate and the senators of TU Dresden.

The following honors are awarded to the best graduates at TU Dresden:

• Lohrmann Medal: All degree program providers as well as the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLSB) and the Student Council can nominate a graduate to receive the TU Dresden Lohrmann Medal.
• EhrenfriedWalter vonTschirnhaus Certificate: The Ehrenfried Walter von Tschirnhaus Certificate is awarded to the best graduates in the School of Science.
• Victor Klemperer certificate: The VictorKlemperer certificate is awarded to the best graduates in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Certificate honoring the best graduates in the School of Engineering Sciences
• Certificate awarded to the best graduates in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
• Carl Gustav Carus Certificate: The Carl Gustav Carus Certificate honors the best graduates in the School of Medicine.
• Karl Trinks certificate: The best graduates of the teaching degree program are awarded the Karl Trinks certificate.
