Invitation to the Future Lab "Communication" on July 22, 2021
University Executive Board Circular Mail of July 7, 2021
Dear members of TU Dresden,
On behalf of the Extended University Executive Board, we would like to cordially invite you to the 7th Future Lab:
"How do we want to be perceived?"
Thursday, July 22, 2021
2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The last Future Lab of the year will focus on how TU Dresden can increase its visibility through strategic communication. In the spirit of our Future Lab series "Globally linked and regionally embedded: How can we all shape TU Dresden into a top university for the 21st century?”, we will be focusing on the topic of communication in light of our national image and our international perception.
We would like to discuss with you how TU Dresden can sharpen its profile and its visibility both internally and externally. We will address the following questions: How can we implement good science communication? What role will internal communication and social media play? How can TU Dresden attract more students?
As was the case with previous Future Labs, we will expand on the communication ideas from the 2018 Future Labs that have already been put into practice.
Moreover, a “supply & demand” padlet will link available competencies and needs, allowing you to network, collaborate and advance both the internal and external communication of the TUD community.
You will find the descriptions of the thematic groups, the agenda and the registration form at: www.tu-dresden.de/future-labs-2021
Please note that the Future Lab will primarily be held in German. Contributions in English are, of course, welcome in all thematic groups.
Which ideas will be implemented (and in which form) will be announced at the final event in November 2021.
We are looking forward to your active participation!
Best regards,
Prof. Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger
