Globally linked and regionally embedded: How can we all shape TU Dresden into a top university for the 21st century?

This key question will define the work of the Extended University Executive Board in the coming years and will be the focus of the new Future Labs, which took place from January to July 2021. Members of TU Dresden and of the DRESDEN-concept partner institutions were invited to jointly explore this question.

As part of the preparations for the University of Excellence proposal, TU Dresden has already conducted Future Labs in the past, generating numerous and varied impulses. What has happened since then? What has been implemented? The Future Labs 2021 with their respective thematic focuses illustrated these developments. Moreover, they served as a platform for the presentation and joint discussion of the strategies developed by the individual areas of responsibility of the University Executive Board.
