Climate Change - Act Now!
"A global university sees itself as a global player in everything it does," says Rector Prof. Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger. A global university therefore also means being involved in tackling the major challenges of the 21st century. One of these challenges is climate change. Real. For everyone.
The TU Dresden is strengthening its commitment to climate protection and is setting out to meet its responsibility for people and the planet even better with a concrete timetable and measures. Take part: tu-dresden.de/change!

Sustainable TU Dresden
In its mission statement as well as in its basic order, the TU Dresden commits itself to pay special attention to the questions of protection of the environment.
A large number of stakeholders work together at the TU Dresden to promote the sustainable development of our university and to improve environmental protection. Within the framework of various projects, measures are implemented to make the campus and life at the TU Dresden more sustainable. These include, for example, the topics of biodiversity, energy, mobility, and also accessibility and the improvement of the quality of life on campus. Members of the university are motivated to become active as multipliers both inside and outside the university and to become involved in environmental and sustainability issues in their everyday life and in their respective fields of work.
Already since 2003, the TU Dresden has an environmental management system according to EMAS. On the student side, the TU Environmental Initiative tuuwi is the main initiator for more sustainability and climate protection at the TU Dresden.
