Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data, registration for workshops
Participation in the tours and workshops at the Campus Culture Festival 2022 and the associated consent to the processing of personal data is voluntary.
1. Purpose of data collection
The Campus Culture Festival is an event of the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). As part of the festival, guided tours and workshops are offered for children and young people as well as for adults. Personal data is processed exclusively for the implementation of the guided tours and workshops.

3. Legal basis for the processing of personal data
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO (consent).
Important note: In the course of the registration process, you must take note of our privacy statement and give your consent to it. If you do not agree to our privacy statement, the registration you have made can unfortunately not be processed further.
4. Personal data processed
The following personal data will be processed:
- First and last name of the person wishing to participate in the guided tour or workshop
- E-mail address
- In the case of workshops for children and young people: Age information (only for verification of participation).
5. Will personal data be transferred to third parties?
The workshops and guided tours at the Campus Culture Festival are conducted by artistic groups or TUD structural units. Directorate 9 will therefore pass on the data provided during registration to the organizer of the respective workshop/guided tour.
Based on the data collected, conclusions can be drawn about specific persons.
For the guided tour offered by the SLUB, registration takes place directly at the SLUB. The privacy policy of the SLUB applies.
6. How long will the data be processed/stored?
The personal data will be deleted no later than four weeks after the Campus Culture Festival.
7. Will personal data be published?
The data provided during registration will not be published.
Please note: During the Campus Culture Festival, photos will be taken. The photos will be used for internal and external press and public relations activities of TU Dresden as well as by external media. By participating in the event, you consent to any photographs of you (that may be taken) being used for publications in print and online media, including social media.
8. The rights of the persons concerned
In order to exercise your rights, a written notification (email or letter) to the persons responsible is sufficient.
The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time with the result that the personal data of the person concerned are not processed further.
The persons concerned has the right to request information at any time about the data processed concerning her/him and the possible recipients of such data. S/he is entitled to a response within a period of one month after receipt of the request for information.
S/he may at any time request the TUD to correct or delete her/his personal data or to restrict processing. In the event of a complaint, s/he can contact the supervisory authority in charge of data protection.
The person concerned has the right to request that the controller transmits his/her personal data to him/her in a machine-readable format. Alternatively, s/he may request that the personal data s/he has provided be transferred directly to another controller, where this is possible.
