Basic nursing courses
In order to make the exchange opportunities for TUD students and employees who currently have nursing responsibilities more personal and practice-oriented, basic nursing courses are also offered in addition to the lectures.
Contents of the course:
- How does care at home work? Overview of important topics and practical knowledge
- Where do I start? Orientation, organization and control for your everyday life
- What benefits is the person in need of care entitled to? Overview and facts on applications and benefits from long-term care insurance
- How do I manage? Coping with and relieving the burden of everyday care through helpful strategies
- Who can help me? Contact options
Target group and objectives:
Students and employees of the TUD with current care responsibilities; relatives and volunteers can learn skills for independent care in care courses and care training. The contents of the care courses are specified by the care insurance companies. Maximum number of participants: 12 people
The basic care course lasts two dates and takes place on
- Date: Monday, 28.09.2026 and Monday, 09.11.2026
- Time: from 15:00 - 19:00 in each case
- Advisor: Susan Holbein from the expert office for nursing and geriatric care, nursing consultant at TU Dresden
- Location: Presence, will be announced during registration
