| Titel | Writing Successful Research Proposals |
| Content |
Securing external funding is a crucial step in building a successful research career, yet many researchers find the proposal process complex and time-consuming. This interactive workshop is designed specifically for women in science who want to strengthen their skills in developing competitive grant applications and gain a better understanding of the research funding landscape in Germany. Participants will learn how to identify suitable funding opportunities, structure their proposals effectively, and manage the application process in a systematic way. The workshop also addresses how to read and interpret funding guidelines, what reviewers expect, and how to present key elements such as the state of the art, work packages, budgeting, and sustainability in a clear and convincing way. In addition, the session provides practical writing advice and discusses opportunities and risks related to the use of AI-based writing tools. Combining practical guidance with insider perspectives, the workshop aims to help participants increase both their confidence and their success in research funding. |
