HERStory: Discover exceptional female professors at TU Dresden in the new calendar
TU Dresden is working hard to make the achievements and role of women in science more visible and to honor them. In a targeted manner, several historical female scientists have already been successfully made visible, and further initiatives will continue to make the significant and inspiring role of women in the past and present more visible in the future.
With the "HERStory" calendar, TU Dresden's Diversity Management is once again presenting pioneers and excellent female scientists at our university in 2025. Twelve outstanding female professors and their biographies are shown. We show historical, emeritus and current female professors who, for example, were the first female professor in their field of research at TUD.
The women depicted in the calendar were illustrated by the illustrator Sylvia Wolf using photographs.
In addition, the TU Dresden website offers detailed monthly biographies of the female scientists featured in the calendar, matching the respective calendar page.
The calendar can be obtained free of charge from TU Dresden's Diversity Management and ordered using the form or picked up directly from Unit 9.3 Diversity Management(Campusnavigator).
