This year, the Dresden University Orchestra celebrates its 60th anniversary. Part of the celebrations is a poster exhibition that reviews the history of the orchestra.

The exhibition lets orchestra members from six decades have their say. In short texts, former and current members share their memories of their time in the orchestra – "of wonderful years with many unforgettable experiences" – with visitors to the exhibition. These texts express the great joy and enthusiasm of the musicians for having been or still being part of this orchestra. The exhibition is introduced by a joint greeting from the TUD Rector Prof. Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger and the Vice-Rector University Culture Prof. Dr. Roswitha Böhm.

The exhibition was already on display in October of this year. Those who missed it in October will have another chance to take a look at the history of the orchestra from December 9 to 22.

Exhibition location: Lecture Hall Center (Hörsaalzentrum) of the TUD, first floor foyer (Bergstraße side).
