TU Dresden is once again participating in the banquet for everyone "Dresden is(s)t bunt", which will take place for the seventh time on September 4, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm - this time according to the motto "Dresden teilt" ("Dresden shares"). There will be a table on the Augustusbrücke and the Schloßplatz, which will be about 600 meters long in total, where all people in Dresden are invited to eat, chat and celebrate the event together.

Dresden University of Technology is once again actively taking part. Ten of its institutes and organizations have booked their own tables and will be on site as hosts. "TUD and the entire DRESDEN-concept research alliance stand for cosmopolitanism and diversity," says the Rector, Prof.in Ursula Staudinger. "In our university, in our research and cultural institutions, we are a community that is based on respect, openness and curiosity about new and different things. We rely on diversity and a variety of perspectives. Getting into conversation over a meal and exchanging views on differences and similarities is an ideal way to embody diversity. Science needs interactivity, interdisciplinarity and internationality. TU Dresden and the partner institutions of the DRESDEN-concept alliance, as well as the citizens of Dresden, will show solidarity for the potential of coming together in diversity during the banquet for everyone 'Dresden is(s)t bunt'."
