Children's thoughts on family, generations and the big and small legacy
Two events organized by the Directorate University Culture and the Dresden Municipal Libraries invited children to talk about generations and family in the middle of Advent. Jana Forkel, presenter on the "Sendung mit der Maus" TV show, playfully navigated through the stream of ideas, while author Gerda Raidt and TUD researchers talked to the young audience. The children asked bold questions about the future and shared clever thoughts - on environmental concerns, family codes and the invisible legacy we pass on. The result was an intergenerational conversation that went into depth, enriched the anticipation of the upcoming family festival - and showed how lively living together can sound. One of the events was recorded as a podcast and will soon be available to listen to.
