Unfortunately, the event has had to be canceled at short notice. We apologize to all interested parties.
In this panel discussion, the Rector of TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger, will discuss the future of Saxony with the Minister of State and Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany, Carsten Schneider, the Head of Regional Transformation at the German Center for Astrophysics, Dr. Andreas Otto, and the Managing Director of the Landesverband Soziokultur Sachsen, Kirstin Zinke.
The discussion will explore key topics such as structural change and innovation against the backdrop of industry in Saxony, the "coal billions," innovative projects, as well as demographic change, which poses major challenges, especially for Saxony's rural regions. Another focus will be the role of science as a companion of — but also as a possible catalyst for — change.
