At work with tutor Leonie
In the current episode of "Auf Arbeit mit..." Leonie gives an exciting insight into her work as a tutor at TU Dresden. As a subject tutor, she leads tutorials, exercises and practicals that aim to support students in repeating and deepening course content. She helps students to learn practical applications of the theories and to develop a deeper understanding of the course topics. One of its main tasks is to create a learning environment that encourages independent work and guides students on their path to academic success.
This episode also focuses on the TUTORING hybrid project, which has been part of the virTUos project at the Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching (ZiLL) since 2023. The project develops hybrid teaching-learning scenarios that combine tutorials, exercises and practicals both online and on site. These innovative teaching formats are didactically analyzed, further developed on an interdisciplinary basis and made available as Open Educational Practice (OEP).
Since April 2024, the project has also been funded via the ESF Plus funding guideline in the sTUDy SMART network project, with a special focus on the promotion and networking of female and international tutors as part of SMART PEERS. This initiative offers additional training and networking opportunities to help tutors
