Lessons Learned VIII - The conference on current issues in university teaching
University teaching is under pressure: it needs to remain more individual, more digital and at the same time of high quality - with increasingly scarce resources and AI-related changes. Orientation arises where experiences are shared.
The Lessons Learned conference offers a nationwide forum for this: Exchange on new teaching/learning scenarios, transfer of proven methods and discussion of successes and failures - with practical impulses for your own teaching. The eighth conference of this kind will take place from July 1 to 3, 2026 at the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering at TUD.
In addition to lectures and posters, there will once again be an afternoon workshop, which this year is entirely dedicated to the topic of AI in teaching:
-
Competencies in the AI era: which technical skills need to be taught and how can they be systematically identified and integrated into teaching/learning formats?
-
AI agents in teaching: Prof. Jens Krzywinski shows where AI can provide support in the absence of tutors and where its limits lie.
The program will be rounded off with leisurely elements: Summer in Dresden invites you to talk, network and spend evenings together after the workshops.
Updated information on the program and registration can be found at any time on the conference website.
