New OER materials for digital workspaces published
The "Digital Higher Education in Saxony" project has been running digitization-related workshop formats for teachers at all Saxon universities since 2019. The special feature of the format is that participants can work on the design and further development of their own specific teaching and learning scenarios on the basis of theoretical input from experts and peer exchange.
This has resulted in a large number of materials, methods and didactic concepts that will continue to be used after the end of the project. For this reason, they are now being made available as Open Educational Resources (OER). These resources are specially designed for university didacticians. They offer not only structured guidance, but also inspiration and practical support for the implementation of your own university didactic concepts.
You can currently find published documentation on the following topics:
- Activation in video conferences,
- Education for all! Finding, editing and sharing open educational resources for your own teaching,
- Creating interactive learning content with H5P,
- How do you measure the success of your digitally supported teaching?
- Self-tests and electronic exercises to promote learning 4.0 (e-assessment) and
- Making digital teaching lively - using improvisation techniques for synchronous teaching.
By publishing the documentation as OER, the aim is not only to share the experiences of the university didactics experts from the project, but also to encourage them to use, adapt and further develop the materials. As open resources, they are available to all interested parties, regardless of institutional or financial barriers.
The documentation of the Digital Workspaces is now available for download on the Twillo platform.
