SDG Campus: Sustainability in teaching and studies
The TUD Dresden University of Technology is taking an innovative step towards sustainability and offering teachers and students alike the opportunity to actively participate in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The SDG Campus is a pioneering teaching and learning network that enables sustainability topics to be explored in depth during studies and innovatively integrated into teaching.
As part of the SDG Campus, students have the opportunity to pursue their sustainability agenda alongside their studies and throughout Germany. They benefit from attractive course offerings, ranging from basics and in-depth modules to challenges based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The highlight is the opportunity to meet like-minded people as part of the challenges, where practical solutions to sustainable problems are developed. At the end, participants receive a certificate documenting their efforts and effective sustainability action.
For teachers who are interested in sustainability issues and are looking for suitable starting points, the SDG Campus offers a unique opportunity to integrate sustainability topics into their teaching and learning contexts. Through innovative teaching formats such as flipped classrooms, seminar intros or lecture snippets, subject content can be expanded to include SDG-related components and thus raise awareness of sustainability in academic education.
The TUD's SDG Campus is not only a step towards a sustainable future, but also an opportunity for teachers and students to actively participate in shaping this future. Become part of the SDG Campus and help shape a sustainable future!
