Raffle within the survey: Orientation Program distributes 40 surprise packages
Participation in the survey of the Orientation Program (German abbrev. OSM) was particularly rewarding for 40 pupils and students: they won a surprise package worth 50 euros each. The package contains not only an academic success backpack, but also a college notebook, a thermos flask, a USB stick and other useful little things for everyday school or university life.
The aim of the survey was to further develop the Orientation Program and to adapt it even better to the needs of future participants. More than 2,000 prospective students, students and employees within and outside the TU Dresden participated in the survey.
The feedback from the survey participants has already made lasting changes to the OSM: The Orientation Program will now – unlike originally planned – be offered free of charge and open to all disciplines. A comprehensive evaluation of all survey results will follow.
What is the Orientation Program?
The Orientation Program is a one- to two-semester program designed to help prospective students A) make a well-founded decision about which course to study and B) successfully begin their studies. The OSM will start in the upcoming summer semester with a test run, which is mainly aimed at international prospective students.
