New anthology on the radical right-wing protest scene in Saxony published
On 8 May 2024, Thelem Verlag published the anthology edited by Michael Krell and Tom Böhme , which takes an in-depth look at the radical right-wing protest scene in Saxony since the coronavirus pandemic and its reorganization. Supported by the FOSTER program, the volume contains 12 contributions by students and early-career researchers who shed light on Saxony as a hotspot of demonstrations and examine the role of the radical right-wing micro-party Freie Sachsen, which played a decisive role in shaping the protests against the corona measures.
Thanks to funding from FOSTER, authors from various social science disciplines were able to develop a broad spectrum of analyses - from fundamental investigations to specific case studies and contextual factors for the success of these protest movements. The anthology thus provides valuable explanatory approaches and delivers new theoretical and empirical insights into the dynamics of radical right-wing stakeholders in Saxony.
You can already find the anthology as an open access version.
