AI@Campus – Tech Update on Generative AI-Based Tools
In the event series AI@Campus, the use of generative artificial intelligence (genAI) in higher education teaching is explored from multiple perspectives. From new technological developments to good-practice examples, from using AI for course planning to AI-based support for study skills, there is something for everyone.
Since the release of ChatGPT to the general public, the development of generative AI tools and their applications has progressed rapidly. At the same time, their use in higher education raises more questions than answers.
The series covers diverse topics and perspectives, giving participants the opportunity to gain an overview of current possibilities and challenges in working with generative AI. Each session focuses on a specific aspect and allows participants to compare their own experiences with the presented content, discuss questions, and exchange ideas with the speakers and other participants. Each session begins with the so-called KIkeriKI – a short newsflash from the AI world with a focus on higher education.
The target audience includes teaching staff and students from all disciplines and types of higher education institutions, (higher education) didactics experts, and teaching support staff.
