Refugee Law Clinic Dresden wins prize from the Ferry Porsche Foundation
Good news from the Refugee Law Clinic Dresden!
We are pleased to announce that the Friends of the Refugee Law Clinic Dresden have won 10,000 euros at the Ferry Porsche Foundation's award ceremony! Our aim is to provide refugees and asylum seekers in Dresden with access to legal aid. We therefore support the RLC Dresden at the TU Dresden in ensuring that all people, regardless of wealth or language skills, receive support in our bureaucratic legal system.
The Refugee Law Clinic Dresden is a student initiative that operates under the umbrella of the Center for International Studies at TU Dresden. Together with the RLC, the association defends the principles of constitutional fairness and practiced democracy. This award is a great success for us and will enable the Refugee Law Clinic to continue implementing many exciting projects.
A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this success! As part of the fifth Ferry Porsche Challenge 2024, the foundation awarded a total of one million euros to 50 projects that promote social cohesion. The aim of this challenge is to strengthen initiatives that promote cohesion, openness and tolerance in our society.
