Workshop on Household- and Market-Related Discrimination, Inequality & Violence is set to take place in Dresden from 5th to 6th July 2022
The Center for International Studies at TU Dresden will organize an interdisciplinary workshop and bring together researchers from political science, economics and related disciplines. It will take place in Dresden, Germany, from 5th to 6th of July 2022.
The two-day workshop will serve as a forum to present current research results on household- and market-related discrimination, inequality and violence. It will give researchers the opportunity to network. We are particularly interested in multidisciplinary perspectives on: the determinants of (un)equal group representation in domestic political systems and international organizations, the survival or elimination of discrimination in competitive markets, the political consequences of intersectional violence, or discrimination-based inequality within households.
The Keynote speakers will be:
Sugata Marjit (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Calcutta)
