The Third Saxon Student Survey
Project duration
04/2017 - 03/2018
Contracting authority
Funded by the Saxon State Ministry of Science and Art
Goals/ Summary
The goal of this large-scale online survey, which polls every second student in Saxony, is to ascertain data about studying at universities in Saxony from the perspective of the students. The systemtatic assesssment of study conditions and study quality should help to identify the strengths and weaknesses of higher education in Saxony and provide important information for the future design of the Saxon higher education landscape. The survey tool, developed already in 2005 for the first Saxon Student Survey, has been updated and expanded to include, among other things, the digitalization of higher education teaching. The study situation is a complex construct consisting of several aspects. Therefore, the questionnaire contains a total of 9 sections (including teaching quality, personal study situation, course of study and satisfaction).
