Volunteering at the Botanical Garden
Every year the Botanical Garden offers one placement for volunteers who would like to gain work experience the horticultural field. Depending on interest, volunteers may also get involved in educational work. The placement is part of the program “Freiwilliges ökologisches Jahr” and is restricted to persons under 27 years of age. The program is organized by Sächsische Umweltakademie Urania e.V.
Unpaid internships are available for university and school students from May to September. The work experience mainly covers horticultural tasks. Starting date and duration are flexible. Applications may be sent to .
